Shri Amar Dev Kapoor, renowned for his Eye testing capabilities, established Kapoor Optical Co in 1963. The first store was opened in Bhopal, but moved to Chandigarh soon after identifying a huge demand for opticals and to fill the gap of demand and quality output.
